Using Openbound
Last updated 15 August 2026.
Estimates, not advice
Openbound reports what public records show about an employer's past sponsorship behaviour and what a job posting says. It does not promise that any employer will sponsor any candidate for any role. Employer policies vary by role, location, hiring team and time, and they change without notice.
Nothing on Openbound is legal or immigration advice. For advice about your own situation, consult a qualified immigration attorney.
Accuracy
Job listings come from employers' own careers pages and sponsorship history from U.S. Department of Labor disclosure data. Both can be incomplete, delayed or wrong at source. We show the evidence behind every conclusion so you can judge it yourself, and we correct errors when they are reported.
Acceptable use
Use Openbound for your own job search. Do not scrape it, resell its output, or use it to build a competing dataset. Applications are made on employers' own sites; Openbound does not submit anything for you.
Availability
Openbound is provided as-is, without warranty. We may change or withdraw features.
