Key Responsibilities

  • Assign work, align production priorities, and coordinate activities between teams to maintain safe and effective operations.
  • Prepare and manage production schedules while identifying potential bottlenecks, resource conflicts, equipment concerns, and operating disruptions.
  • Monitor adherence to operating procedures, safety expectations, and quality standards, taking prompt action when conditions or results do not meet expectations.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports covering processes, tooling concerns, performance, inventory, safety, productivity, and quality.
  • Review operating data, investigate production issues, identify practical alternatives, and recommend actions that improve performance.

  • Coach employees through clear goals, regular feedback, development opportunities, and appropriate recognition.
  • Address scheduling and workplace conflicts constructively while promoting open communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills

  • Manufacturing leadership: Ability to organize and direct daily production-line activities, establish priorities, coordinate employees, and maintain focus on operational results.
  • Problem solving: Working knowledge of fact-finding and diagnostic techniques used to identify production or process problems, evaluate alternatives, and support sound resolution decisions.
  • Performance management: Ability to establish clear performance expectations, observe work objectively, provide behavior-focused feedback, identify development opportunities, and recognize employee contributions.
  • Decision making and critical thinking: Ability to gather and organize relevant information, clarify priorities, consider risks and benefits, and make informed operational decisions.
  • Planning and organizing: Ability to identify scheduling risks and bottlenecks, create action plans, adjust priorities, and monitor execution through completion.
  • Effective communication: Ability to communicate expectations clearly, listen to feedback, prepare reports, and adapt messages for production employees, peers, and leaders.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail: Ability to maintain dependable production information, follow documentation requirements, and recognize the operational consequences of errors.
  • Education or equivalent experience: A degree or equivalent relevant experience is desired.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous leadership experience in manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, machining, heavy equipment, automotive, industrial products, or a related production environment.
  • Experience supervising employees on a complex production line manufacturing operation.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, standardized work, visual management, or structured problem-solving methods.
  • Experience using production metrics to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, or employee performance.
  • Experience with production scheduling, inventory coordination, operating procedures, and quality documentation.
  • Demonstrated success coaching employees, resolving work conflicts, and supporting employee development.
  • Working knowledge of common manufacturing systems, production reporting applications, or enterprise resource planning tools.

How Openbound evaluates sponsorship

Visa history uses official U.S. Department of Labor H-1B LCA disclosure data and USCIS H-1B petition history. Green card history uses DOL PERM disclosure data. Each is read for the employer as a whole, for roles like this one, and for this location, weighted toward the most recent fiscal years.

An employer is matched to its filing entities by verified legal name and reviewed aliases; a match is never made on a name resemblance alone. Where no verified entity can be matched, the page says so and draws no conclusion from the absence. 183 filing titles were examined for this employer.

What this posting states outranks history in both directions, and an employer's published policy outranks past filings. Filing history reflects past behavior; it is not a promise of sponsorship for this opening, and none of this is legal advice.
